Felicia L. Allen
Felicia L. Allen is a Hospice Chaplain with Capital Caring Health Services located in Fredericksburg, VA. Additionally, she oversees the administration of ministries at Agape. She has worked in education and counseling since earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland. In May 2015 she graduated with her Masters of Divinity from the world renown and historic Samuel D. Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University, Richmond, VA. In July 2015 she was the first woman to be commissioned an Institutional Chaplain in the Church of God in Christ, Inc. with laying on of hands.
Her gift of administrative acumen coupled with her strategic planning skills makes an impact on and positions Agape to achieve excellence regarding God’s kingdom agenda. She serves as the director of the “Women of Honor” of Agape.” Her heart for women prompted her to establish “Under His Wings,” a not-for-profit organization that empowers, educates, and supports women in ministry. Lady Allen has a dynamic ministry teaching the Word of God with simplicity and clarity. Her love for God’s people enables her to connect with all ages and cultures. She can be found teaching the youth as well as the church mothers. She is a woman of integrity, poise, intelligence, and possesses strength, a charismatic personality, and an aura of godliness that is obvious to all she graces with her presence. She is a community activist and works diligently to ensure all citizens are treated with fairness and equality. The humility of her spirit proves she is truly “Saved to Serve.”
Lady Allen, with her husband, established Agape Fellowship (Naples, Italy) in 1998 and upon returning to the United States they founded Agape Fellowship Ministries, (Stafford, Virginia) in 2000. The ministry has grown to El Perfecto (Hispanic ministry in Stafford, El Salvador and Costa Rica); Ghanaian ministry in Stafford; and a Francophone ministry in Paris France. Together they are a mighty force in the body of Christ. Her love for missionary ministry causes her to travel the world sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Of all the many titles she holds, she most enjoys being a wife and friend to Vincent since 1984, a mother to Dr. Vincent, Jr., Branden, Tanisha, and Crystal; and grandmother to DeShawn, Jalen, Taiya, Preston III, and Grei Simone.
Lady Allen’s words to live by are found in Lamentations 3:22, 23, “It is of the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is your faithfulness.”
